Here is Big Sister Mallory. Mallory was born in March 31, 2005.
She weighed 6lbs 11oz and was 19inches long. She was such a
peanut! September 25 Mallory is doing well. She had
an incident a few days ago that needed dental assistance though.
She was being silly dancing around with underwear on her head, and she
tripped and fell and chipped a piece of her molar off. After an
emergency visit to the dentist it was decided that she is going to now
need a crown on that tooth. She is scheduled for that next month.
She is sporting a nice bruise on her chin though from the fall. July 31 Mallory left today for Denver, Colorado.
She and daddy (papa too) drove to see her aunt Amy and her cousins.
She did great on the drive and enjoyed her first long car trip!!
July 12 We found out recently that Mallory has a
"boyfriend" at school. She is so cute when she talks about him.
She just gushes and gets all excited. If she is showing me how
things are going to be when she gets older, I sure am in trouble!!
She is loving the full time summer "school" schedule. She gets to
have swim lessons Monday through Thursday mornings and has a field trip
every Friday. She is having a ball! She is a fantastic
little swimmer and she loves the water. she calls herself "a fish
like Ariel (from the movie little mermaid)". Her favorite thing
currently is princesses and all that it entails!! She is growing
up so fast. She is a constant chatter box and puts herself in
bouts of laughter with things she says. I love having her be 3
(right now anyway)!!
June 10 Mallory started "school" full time this
summer. She enjoys going every day and is having so much fun
playing with her friends. She has started swimming lessons and is
doing great!! She loves the water. She informed me that she
was going to "grow legs like Ariel (the little mermaid)" if she
continued to swim. She is daytime potty trained...we are still
working on the nighttime. She loves her brothers and sisters and
is especially fond of Emily these days. She bounces back and forth
between her "favorites". She is being three and has a mind of her
own. We are trying to figure out the boundaries. I want her
to have freedom and choices, but I also want to control those. She
needs to figure out what she can and can not do! Things are just a
little frustrating, but very doable!! We love her so much and she
is a GREAT kid with a fantastic heart.
January 12 Mallory is doing great and is unphased
by the RSV virus. She is still loving school and is doing a
fantastic job using the potty. She has almost completely
transitioned from pull ups (diapers) to big girl panties (except at nap
at bed time) and loves to show them off!!! She is missing her
babies and asks about them constantly.
December 22 Mallory is gearing up for Santa
Clause..she has asked him for a "surprise." Let's hope that
she continues to make santas job so easy. She is still loving
school and is learning so much. She loves art, reading, puzzles
and anything that makes her mind solve problems. She is turning
into quite the little mommy...correcting the little ones and instructing
them on how their cover their mouth when they cough. She loves
them so much! She is constantly talking and trying to "reason"
with us about everything! She is doing a fantastic job at using
the potty--hopefully she is almost fully potty trained!! She is a
great kid who we really enjoy.
November 2 Mallory had the best Halloween!!
She loved dressing up as a beautiful sunflower and was a little skittish
about going to the houses. She was carried to the doors to say
trick or treat and get her candies. She is such the princess!
She started her daycare/preschool the beginning of October and truly
loves it. She just can't wait to go. She is enjoying her
babies and is such the fantastic "big" sister. She is always
helping to keep her toys away from the kiddos. We are still
working on the "sharing toys" aspect of having siblings! |
